invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in counseling starting August 15, 2011. The Department of Human Relations is an interdisciplinary program that utilizes theory and research in its approach to working with people, organizations, and communities to promote social change. Core areas of our program include organizational studies, conflict resolution, international human relations, counseling and human services, community service, and diversity studies. The applicant must have a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or related field. The research area for this position is open. Applicants must have a completed a doctorate in a relevant discipline before August 15, 2011, college-level teaching experience, and a well-articulated research agenda. Teaching expertise in gender and diversity in counseling is preferred.
